Museum of the Mississippi Delta

Years ago my parents used to carry me to this museum when it was named Cottonlandia. Even though the Museum of the Mississippi Delta is located in the same building, it is distinctly a modern experience now. Located on Highway 82 in Greenwood, Mississippi, this museum is truly a treasure for the Delta.

The museum focuses on the arts, Native American history, the Civil War and our Delta environment.

Greenwood, the home of the Museum of the Mississippi Delta, is located along Highway 82 which has become a major transportation line that runs from the city of Greenville across to Alabama. The city is just east of Mississippi Valley State University and contains all the modern conveniences from restaurants to hotels.

Admission: Children 2-17 $4.00 and Adults 18 and over $10.00.
