The Children’s Museum of Memphis

Had a chance to carry a group of after school students to visit the Children’s Museum of Memphis today. Although I had been by this place lots of times, this was my first visit.

One of the first things I saw which really got me excited was the old carousel from Liberty Land. Anybody growing up around Memphis will remember it. As a kid I loved this thing and was happy to see it find a new home.

I think I had as much fun at the museum as the kids. There are so many hands on activities from a Fed Ex plane to fishing.

The Children’s Museum of Memphis is located at the old Memphis Fairgrounds next to the Liberty Bowl. It is a great place to visit.
